Jewellery designs
Jewellery designs are not only subject to fashion over the centuries, but also the differences in taste per country or culture lead to differences in jewellery design.
In France and Italy it’s more common to design robust shapes in which the diamonds are placed in exposed settings, creating more balance between the diamonds and their settings. As in fashion, the French and Italian designers are seen as the industry standard.
