Objective of the Diamond Museum Amsterdam Foundation

The purpose of the foundation – with the exclusion of profit motives – is:

the founding, operation and maintenance of a museum, which, without being aimed at making a profit, is accessible to the public and at the service of society and its development.

It acquires, retains, researches, presents, documents and publishes the history of the diamond (processing) industry in Amsterdam and surroundings, as well as its affiliated industries, for purposes of study, education and pleasure.
